As 2025 comes to a close, we take a quiet moment to reflect on the journey behind us — the challenges we faced, the lives we touched, and the perseverance that carried us through even the hardest days. Every step mattered. Every act of care counted. And none of it was done alone.

This year was both challenging and deeply meaningful. Thanks to your support, we were able to respond to two critical situations with compassion, urgency, and heart.

Earlier in the year, along with several local rescue partners and shelters, we stepped in to assist with a severe hoarding case involving more than 145 cats and kittens, many of whom were in urgent need of medical care. Through spay/neuter services and vital veterinary treatment, we were able to ease suffering and offer these animals a second chance at safety, healing, and love.

Our second major effort took place at a homeless encampment in Fremont, where we provided life-saving services — spay/neuter, vaccinations, and urgent veterinary care— for cats and kittens living alongside unhoused individuals. These animals are often overlooked, but thanks to our dedicated volunteers who assisted with transportation and onsite coordination — they were not forgotten.

Beyond these large-scale efforts, we remained committed throughout the year to supporting low-income families in San Jose, helping guardians care for their beloved pets by providing access to spay/neuter services and medical care they might not otherwise afford.

This work required resilience, patience, and faith — especially on days when progress felt slow and the needs felt overwhelming. Yet even in the quiet moments, the small victories reminded us why we do this work. Every life saved, every animal comforted, every family supported was a testament to perseverance and compassion in action.
